SRZ ltd is an updated, hightechnological enterprise, able to repair, build and modernize the most modern vessels of any type and purpose. Recently repair workers started to transship cargoes, operate their own fleet in the capacity of shipowner.

Our yard is one of the oldest enterprises of our city and region; it began working in 1886 as mechanical shops of Mariupol port. And by now the yard has developed into the biggest shiprepair enterprise of XXI century of the Sea of Azov.

The geography of the fleet subject to repair has extended as well. These are vessels belonging to CIS countries, as well as to Greece, Bulgaria, Rumania, Turkey and other countries.

Immediate proximity to the biggest metallurgical enterprises of Ukraine predetermines the usage of berth capacities of the yard with respect to metallurgical products and outsize cargo transshipment. Since 2000 the enterprise has been developing also as shipping company. SRZ ltd possesses 4 vessels: 2 tankers and 2 general cargo vessels. The vessels were restored from scrap metal and at the present moment successfully operate, bringing in a stable profit to the yard.

In order to meet our customers constantly growing demand on quality of production and services, the yard implements programs on modernization of our technical potentials and technological possibilities.  Dredging works within yards water area and dock foundation area were carried out; this allows to effect handling of vessels with draft upto 8 meters. Gas-cutting machines reconstruction and major overhauling of dock has been performed as well. Each technical innovation extends the range of rendered services and allows to offer to our clients and customers more variable assortment of products.

In spite of the problems, accompanying national, European and worldwide shiprepair, SRZ ltd management is inclined optimistically, as the yard possesses huge potential and everything required to ensure high productivity. One of the trends important both for us and for our customers is reduction of internal costs and production cost prices with optimization of energy consumption.
