The enterprise was founded in 1886, when the city and port were built. At present, the Azov Ship Repair Yard is the largest and best technically equipped ship repair yard in the Azov Sea region. The Yard has berths whose total length is 900 m. These berths are equipped with portal cranes (lifting capacity 15-40 t), three floating dry-docks of our own design (lifting capacity 2*5000 t, 1*15000 t), and two floating cranes (lifting capacity 140 t and 60 t).

The Azov Ship Repair Yard performs ALL kinds of ship repairs and dock work, builds oil and debris skimmers, fabricates and reconditions spare parts for combustion and diesel engines, and produces grabs for transfers in ports, metallurgical plants, and sand-pits.

Since 1993, the Yard has been using one of its berths to load exported cargo, including rolled metal and chemical fertilizers.
